Bring back classic Spaces & Exposé

Restore grid-based Spaces overview with drag-to-arrange desktops and Exposé per-grouped-app windows for power users.

Let's face it—Stage Manager was a flop, as proven by the new windowing system in iPadOS 26. Apple clearly recognized that the confusing, overlapping window management introduced with Stage Manager didn't serve users well and has moved toward a more traditional approach.

The original Spaces provided a clean, grid-based overview where users could see all their virtual desktops at once and drag applications between them intuitively. Exposé showed all windows for an application in a clear, organized layout. These interfaces were predictable, discoverable, and efficient for power users who needed serious multitasking capabilities.

Instead of forcing experimental interfaces that confuse rather than clarify, Apple should return to the proven paradigms that made Mac productivity legendary.
