Add sorting options (alphabetical, by type, etc.) instead of only distance-based sorting. The current distance sorting is really annoying because the list keeps updating while you're looking at it—if you're tracking AirTags and a few are nearby, you can easily tap the wrong item as the order constantly changes.

Providing options to sort alphabetically or by other stable criteria would fix this usability issue and make Find My much more reliable to navigate.
