Why the App Library Needs Love

iOS 14 introduced App Library, tucked all the way to the right of the Home Screen. Most casual users never swipe that far; power-users complain it’s half-finished.

From Apple’s own docs:

“Your apps are automatically sorted… The apps you use most frequently will automatically reorder…”

Great in theory. In practice? I still search or swipe through folders.

Two concrete fixes

1. Not on Home Screen – a smart bucket for orphaned apps.
2. Ability to promote any Home-Screen folder into App Library (and drop an App Library Folder widget back onto the grid).
