Save Anything as a PDF on iOS (Pinch-Out Trick)
Any time you see a Print option on iOS, you can turn it into a PDF — no third-party app needed.
How to do it
- Tap Share (or the action menu) → Print
- On the print preview, pinch outward on the page thumbnail with two fingers
- The preview expands into a full-screen PDF
- Tap Share again to save it to Files, send it via AirDrop, email it, or do whatever you want with it
Why this is useful
This works on anything that has a Print option:
- Emails — save receipts, confirmations, important threads
- Webpages — capture articles without ads or clutter
- Notes, Messages, Documents — anything you can print, you can PDF
- App content — some apps that don't have a native "Save as PDF" still offer Print
It's one of the most versatile hidden features on iOS. No markup, no scanning — just pinch and save.
