On iPhone or iPad, you don't have to poke the screen to reposition the cursor—the keyboard can become a precision trackpad:

1. Long-press the space bar until the keys blank out (haptic bump).
2. Slide your finger—the entire keyboard becomes a track-pad to move the insertion point precisely.

This technique works system-wide in any text field and is especially useful for quick edits in long sentences or precise cursor positioning when editing documents.
